Front + Centre welcomes a packed, eclectic schedule of local, national and international performing artists to both City of Ottawa Theatres; Shenkman Arts Centre and Centrepointe Theatre, and attracts audiences of all ages with varied musical, theatrical, and comedic talent.

Shenkman Arts Centre, located in Ottawa’s east end, is a dynamic creative hub where artists and audiences of all ages will gather to create and explore the arts. The facility boasts a state of the art 506-seat main stage, Harold Shenkman Hall.

Right at the centre of the new City of Ottawa, Centrepointe Theatre is a 966 seat, world-class facility that recently won Performing Arts Centre of the Year (under 1500 seats) at the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards at Canadian Music Week.

Both facilities are professionally managed by the City of Ottawa’s Cultural Services Section with generous assistance from Centrepointe and Shenkman Volunteer Companies.  Both venues are located at transit hubs in Orléans and Nepean.  Both are a short drive from anywhere in the city and the parking is always free!
